Return to Monkey Island release date set for 19 September

Wow!

The Return to Monkey Island release date has been set for 19 September, it was today announced at Gamescom 2022.

The release date was delivered by Stan S. Stanman in a new marketing trailer, below. It, of course, is full of the type of humour we’ve come to expect from the franchise.

As afficionados likely know, 19 September is also Talk Like a Pirate Day. Fitting, eh?

Stan also advised that those who pre-order the title will receive special Horse Armor; the catch is, it does nothing. But you’ll have it. That’s good, right?

Return to Monkey Island heads to Windows PC and Switch on 19 September.
