Resident Evil Village download size detailed by listing

Time to clear some space?

The Resident Evil Village download size has been detailed by a Microsoft Store listing, giving us an idea of how much SSD space we need to have ready.

According to the listing, Village will take up approximately 50.02 GB, all up, with its RE:Verse multiplayer component comprising approximately 15 GB of that total.

“Set a few years after the horrifying events in the critically acclaimed Resident Evil 7 biohazard, the all-new storyline begins with Ethan Winters and his wife Mia living peacefully in a new location, free from their past nightmares. Just as they are building their new life together, tragedy befalls them once again,” the listing continues, describing the game.

Update: The PlayStation Store has outed PlayStation-specific details. Without RE:Verse or a Day One patch, the game is said to be 27.325 GB in size and will be available for pre-loading from 5 May.

Resident Evil Village heads to Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S & X, PS4 and PS5 from 7 May.
