Resident Evil Survival Unit is a mobile game coming later in 2025

Resident Evil Survival Unit is a new mobile game heading to iOS and Android devices later this year.

The title is a joint project between Capcom, Aniplex, and JoyCity. From what’s been shown, it’s a real-time defense battler where you’ll pit your team of three against zombies and other biohazards.

“The game opens with the protagonist awakening in a mysterious hospital, having been used as a test subject by the Umbrella Corporation,” reads a description of the title. “As you uncover the truth and attempt to escape, the story unfolds into a parallel world where familiar characters from the original series return, uncovering details of a chilling, new narrative.”

Some returning characters include the likes of Claire Redfield, Leon S. Kennedy, and Jill Valentine. A new biohazard, Mortem, will feature, designed by artist Yoshitaka Amano.

If what you’ve seen has piqued your interest, you can pre-register to play here on iOS, or here on Android devices.
