Resident Evil Survival Unit global release date set for 18 November

Though Australians can already play it!

The Resident Evil Survival Unit global release date has been set for 18 November, Aniplex and JoyCity today announced.

While the title is actually already available in Australia, this launch will open the mobile title up to 151 total countries and regions worldwide.

“Based on Capcom’s iconic Resident Evil series, Resident Evil Survival Unit offers a fresh strategic experience tailored for mobile devices,” the pair said. “The game blends the accessibility of mobile gaming with the depth of real-time strategy, allowing players worldwide to connect and compete in a new survival-themed adventure set in the Resident Evil universe.”

As it’s available here, we’ve tried it and found it to be… well, a mobile title. But you may find differently, so give it a shot. It’s free-to-play with obligatory optional in-app purchases (which, truthfully, were the bits that made us stop playing).

If you’re keen to check it out, you can pre-order on the Apple App Store here, and on the Google Play Store right here.

Resident Evil Survival Unit will soon be available on iOS and Android smart devices.
