Resident Evil Code Veronica X backwards compatible on Xbox One

Resident Evil Code Veronica X and the Lost Planet quadtrilogy are now backwards compatible on Xbox One, Microsoft has recently confirmed.

All newly added titles are as follows:

  • Lost Planet
  • Lost Planet 2
  • Lost Planet 3
  • Lost Planet Colonies
  • Resident Evil: Code Veronica X

The move means that (technically) all Resident Evil Code titles apart from Resident Evil 3: Nemesis can now be played on Xbox One; the technicality is Resident Evil 2, of which the 2019 release is available but the 1998 release is not.

Code Veronica X is currently $29.95 AUD on the Xbox Store.

The five Xbox 360 games can now be played on Xbox One; those with digital copies will find a download under the Xbox One’s My Games & Apps section, while those with physical discs can insert them into their Xbox One to start the download process.
