Resident Evil 7: You’re going to have to work for weapons

Resident Evil 7‘s change from roided-up protagonists to the an everyday person also means weapons are going to be harder to come across.

“You’re going to be pitted up in situations where you’re still going to have to fight,” RE7 Producer Masachika Kawata told GamingBolt.

“You’re going to get a nice arsenal of weaponry. So that element you’re not going to see too much of a difference. The one thing I do want to point out though is the fact that the weapons aren’t going to be that easy to find. So until you find them and have that advantage you’re probably going to be running around considerably a lot more.”

And that all means guns in a cage. Fantastic.

Resident Evil 7 heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 in January 2017. A demo is currently available on PS4 and Xbox One, and heads to Windows PC next week.
