Resident Evil 7: US pre-orders get the live-action Resident Evil: Retribution free

It was today revealed that Resident Evil 7 will offer up select Resident Evil live-action films as pre-order bonuses to those in the USA.

Those that pre-order the title from GameStop, PlayStation Network or Xbox Live in the US will receive a coupon for a free download of the latest Resident Evil live-action film, Retribution.

PlayStation Network digital pre-orders will also receive a coupon code for 40% off the Resident Evil Collection, a bundle of the remaining live-action films.

Coupon codes for Retribution will be valid until 6 February, and apply to “pre-orders” until that date (even though Resident Evil 7 hits stores on 24 January).

The next Resident Evil live-action film, The Final Chapterheads to theatres in the coming weeks. Additionally, Resident Evil: Vendetta, the latest CGI franchise film, heads to Japan in May.

Resident Evil 7 is available from 24 January on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 (with PS VR support). We recently previewed it here.
