Resident Evil 7: December demo update expected at this weekend’s PlayStation Experience

December’s here, and that means one important thing: an update to the Resident Evil 7 demo.

As promised in one of Capcom’s RE7 teaser videos, the update is scheduled for sometime this month:

With the PlayStation Experience event taking place this weekend, it’s likely the update will be detailed — and released — then.

This is all speculation, sadly — Capcom hasn’t confirmed a date. We’ll keep you posted.

While Resident Evil 7 will release on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 (with PS VR support), its demo is currently available on PS4 only. It was first released in June, and later updated in September. We’re expecting a multi-platform demo this month as well. Moreover, the game’s Kitchen demo is exclusive to PS4 with PS VR.
