Resident Evil 4 remake confirmed by Capcom

It begins.

Resident Evil 4 remake was today confirmed to Capcom at Sony’s latest PlayStation State of Play.

Today’s teaser trailer showed a little of what to expect, including a confirmation that Leon S Kennedy’s updated Resident Evil 2 appearance will also feature inside Resident Evil 4.

Viewers also got a glimpse at an updated Ashley and some of the familiar locales of one of Resident Evil‘s best iterations.

We’ll report back as we learn more. For now, check out the teaser trailer below.

Thanks to confirmation from a Capcom Brazil trailer, we know we can now expect the Resident Evil 4 remake on Windows PC via Steam, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PS5 from 24 March 2023. The title will also support PlayStation VR2 play.
