Resident Evil 4 iOS, Mac release coming late December

More survival horror on Apple devices.

The Resident Evil 4 iOS, Mac release is set for 20 December, Capcom has today announced.

“Prepare to experience the fear of this state-of-the-art survival horror title in the palm of your hand with iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max,” Capcom said in a press release.

Included in the releases — compatible with the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max and on iPads and Macs with the M1 chip or later — is RE4‘s Separate Ways DLC.

Just like Resident Evil Village before it, players will be able to download and play a trial before they decide to pay and unlock the full game. We did exactly that for Village on our iPhone 15; you can read about that experiment here.

Also announced for Mac is Stray, which heads to the Apple platform in early December.

The Resident Evil 4 remake is already available on Windows PC via Steam, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5; we reviewed it here.
