Resident Evil 3 changes will make the game feel fresh, says Capcom

Resident Evil 3 changes mean the game will be less familiar to returning players, Capcom has recently confirmed.

Capcom’s Peter Fabiano, Masao Kawada and Masachika Kawata have been speaking with Famitsu (via Siliconera) and on Capcom TV, already detailing some of those changes.

First, the game’s producers have confirmed that items will be rearranged more aggressively than they were in the Resident Evil 2 remake, making it trickier for long-term fans of the series.

Next, characters have been beefed up quite heavily; while Dario Rosso only makes a small apperance at the start of the original game, he’s said to play a larger role in the RE3make.

Additionally, it’s been confirmed that Hunter Betas are in the game, slightly reimagined. We’ll do our best to spoil what that entails so you can be properly scared come April.

Resident Evil 3 heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 3 April 2020.
