Report: Guacamelee! heading to PS4, Xbox One in 2014

Drinkbox Studio’s crazy platformer Guacamelee! is reportedly being ported to PS4 and Xbox One for release next year.

IGN was first to report on the news, and have subsequently removed their post. Polygon also covered the story, with Drinkbox responding, “What’s Guacamelee!?” when asked of the news.

If rumours prove to be true, the game will have two new worlds, new enemies and a “chicken-bomb” ability alongside prettier visuals.

Guacamelee! was in the running for a Stevivor GOTY, and can still be voted for in our Readers’ Choice award. Dave reviewed the game here.
