Rematch Patch 2 should fix broken Achievements and Trophies next week

Rejoice!

Rematch Patch 2 should fix broken Achievements and Trophies on Xbox and PlayStation when it drops next week, developer Sloclap has proclaimed.

“This is the second major Patch for Rematch, solving a number of major netcode related issues, such as tackles not registering, GK dive rollbacks causing goals to be scored when they shouldn’t,” Sloclap advised in an update.

“Achievements unlocks should also be fixed – note that achievements will not be unlocked immediately, for instance if you’re level 35 but haven’t received Pro and Elite achievements, you will need to reach level 36 to unlock both achievements.”

It’s assumed that other broken Achievements and Trophies — such as securing three wins in a row, or obtaining an assist as a goalkeeper — will need to be re-earned to unlock.

The patch is currently on the PC Beta App for testing, with plans to be deployed to all platforms from Tuesday next week here in Australia.

A third patch, which will add cross-play, is planned for later this month.

“Patch 3 should hopefully arrive by the end of August, and will fix some remaining known issues, and importantly introduce Crossplay to the game (at last!),” Sloclap added. “Some gameplay tweaks might also be introduced in Patch 3 (looking at you, Ippy Slide), but that’s still to be confirmed. More news very soon!”

Rematch is now available on Windows PC via Steam, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PS5; it’s also included in Xbox Game Pass.
