Rematch crossplay now live thanks to Season 1

With much more in the pipeline, says Sloclap.

Rematch Season 1 is now live, finally bringing crossplay to the small-team football game.

Season 1 brings “the much-requested 3v3 ranked game mode, new cosmetics, new customizations and the long-awaited addition of crossplay,” according to developer Sloclap.

The season “also launches with fixes and balancing to player locomotion, improving reactivity and precision, while nerfing certain exploits such as the infamous ‘Ippy Slide’,” Sloclap continued.

“Goalkeeper dives have been reworked to make them more effective against volleys. Skill-based matchmaking parameters are now stricter, especially in ranked matches, ensuring more evenly matched teams.”

Following later in October, Rematch will make two big changes to its ranked system. These will come in the form of “league demotion and dynamic rank points, both designed to ensure that league placement more accurately reflects each player’s current level.”

Rematch is now available on Windows PC via Steam, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PS5; it’s also included in Xbox Game Pass.
