Red Dead Online multiplayer to support 32 players

Red Dead Online multiplayer will support up to 32 players when available.

Moreover, players will be able to form their own in-game posses with seven other players… useful if you happen to run into a rival posse, eh?

Rockstar still is remaining tight-lipped on actual multiplayer game modes, but has confirmed the experience will allow players to hunt, fish, camp and fight both rival posses and NPCs. More details have been promised ahead of the Red Dead Online beta, which kicks off in stages later this week.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available now on Xbox One and PS4. Are you planning on jumping into multiplayer, or sticking with single-player for a while?
