Reading Rainbow can fly twice as high on Xbox, PlayStation

Last week, Star Trek: The Next Generation alum LeVar Burton took to Kickstarter to fundraise the next generation (pun VERY intended) of his PBS children’s series, Reading Rainbow. While the fundraiser was a smashing success, we didn’t cover it on Stevivor, cause you know, not a video game thing.

Until now.

Burton and the Reading Rainbow team have announced a $5 million USD stretch goal that will bring the revamped, digital series to game consoles.

Reading Rainbow is using the crowdfunding service to bring the joy of reading to “every child… everywhere.

“When we reach our next goal of $5,000,000, we’ll also be able to bring the service to mobile phones, Android, game consoles like XBOX and PlayStation, and set-top boxes like AppleTV and ROKU,” Reading Rainbow’s Kickstarter page says.

You can head to the Kickstarter page to donate.
