RE4 Collector’s Edition Australian pricing set at $600 AUD

You read that right.

The Resident Evil 4 Collector’s Edition has finally popped up in Australia, priced at a jaw-dropping $600 AUD.

EB Games Australia had the Collector’s Edition up for pre-order earlier today; each platform is already “presold” out.

The retailer had the RE4 Collector’s Edition, which includes a 12″ Leon S Kennedy statue, up for $599.95 AUD (plus a $50 AUD deposit payable immediately). Availability was across PS4, PS5 and Xbox Series versions of the game.

The price point for RE4 is noticeably higher — $170 AUD, to be exact — than a similar offering available for the Resident Evil 2 remake Collector’s Edition, which came in at $429 AUD.

What do you make of the price point for this new collectible? We’ll let you know is further pre-order opportunities become available.

The Resident Evil 4 remake will be available on Windows PC via Steam, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5 from 24 March 2023.
