Razer CEO abuses employees, new report alleges

Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan berates and abuses his employees, a new report from Kotaku alleges.

Kotaku cites ten former employees who called Tan’s management a “dictatorship” and recalled instances where he would yell, or even throw objects, at staff.

“Razer looks like this cool place to work, but when you get in there, you realise you’re fighting for your life all the time,” one former employee recalled. “Either you’re working hard or you’re being told to bugger off.”

In reply to Kotaku’s story, Razer said that “while the vast majority of our staff are happy and engaged, it is inevitable that a small number would be disgruntled and unhappy.”
