Rare to show off new game at E3; will it be Battletoads or Banjo-Kazooie?

Not to be outdone by ex-Rare staffers launching Yooka-Laylee over the weekend, current-Rare also teased their new project will make an appearance at E3.

Rare’s Studio Creative Director, Simon Woodroffe, took to Twitter (in a now protected tweet) to tell a fan that “E3 will tell the world what Gregg Mayles new project is about.”

Woodroffe later said, “All I can give here is a quote from the man himself, ‘This is more fun than anything we’ve ever done.'” when asked if the new project was new or existing IP.

Frontrunners Battletoads and Banjo-Kazooie seem the most likely to be revealed in the wake of recent press.

What do you hope to see from Rare at E3?
