Rainbow Six Siege Year 3 content detailed by Ubisoft

Rainbow Six Siege Year 3 content has recently been detailed by Ubisoft.

As per usual, Year 3 has been split into four seasons and will include eight new operators, two new maps set in Italy and Morocco and one existing map makeover.

“This season’s two operators are specialists in biohazard situations and, on top of being playable in adversarial multiplayer, will have to face a major threat in what will be the game’s first co-op event ever, named Outbreak,” Ubisoft detailed. “This event will be playable during 4 weeks for free for Rainbow Six Siege owners. It will also feature an exclusive collection of cosmetics, available only during the time of the event.”

The full reveal of Outbreak will take place in Montreal during Siege‘s Six Invitational event early next year.

Rainbow Six: Siege‘s Year 3 Pass will be available to buy from 12 December. Players have until that time to buy the Year 2 pass — it includes a number of items, including eight existing operators (Mira, Jackal, Ying, Lesion, Ela, Dokkaebi, Vigil and Zofia).

Rainbow Six: Siege is available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
