Rainbow Six Siege Ranked 2.0 delayed to Year 7 Season 4

Alongside other quality of life features.

Rainbow Six Siege‘s revamped Ranked mode, called Ranked 2.0, has been delayed to Year 7 Season 4, Ubisoft has recently confirmed.

Ranked 2.0 and other quality of life features will be delayed from Season 3 into Season 4 as part of the shooter’s restructed content roadmap.

“We’ve mentioned it before, but sometimes, the reality of working on a live game means features have to be delayed in order to ensure they meet the quality standards you expect,” Ubisoft said in an update. “This is one of those cases.”

Delayed features included Ranked 2.0 alongside restrictions on voice chat and a new Reputation Score display beta program.

“As Y7S3 approached, we realized Ranked 2.0 would benefit from a little more time, so we’ve made the difficult decision to push its release back by a season,” Ubisoft continued. “This way, we can ensure that the revamp to Ranked that you get in Y7S4 is the strongest it can possibly be.”

Rainbow Six Siege is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5.
