Rainbow Six Siege Operation Grim Sky announced

Rainbow Six Siege Operation Grim Sky was today announced by Ubisoft.

Operation Grim Sky is part of the game’s Year 3 Season 3 and will introduce two new Operators: an American attacker and English Defender.

“The first Operator is a Defender from Great Britain. She’s a tough police officer who’s an expert on mob behavior and snatch-squad tactics. She knows she belongs on the front line and she won’t tolerate any nonsense,” Ubisoft said of the upcoming content.

“The second Operator is an American Attacker, a specialist with a remarkably sharp mind when it comes to tactical operations. He has seen the worst in Kabul. Despite it all, he fell in love with the city. Legendary for his surgical precision, he remains an enigma within Rainbow Six.”

The update will also feature a reworked version of Hereford Base, a map introduced in Rainbow Six: Siege‘s 2015 beta.

“This rework will include a new visual identity, layout and architecture,” Ubisoft advised. “The map will still feel familiar to the players, but with the rework, Hereford Base may be considered as a new map.”

Expect a full reveal of Year 3 Season 3 content for Rainbow Six: Siege during the Six Major Paris Esports event. That takes place between 17-19 August.

Rainbow Six: Siege is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
