QuakeCon schedule: Doom Eternal reveal, Fallout 76 & Esports

Bethesda has today detailed the QuakeCon schedule, with events surrounding Doom Eternal, Fallout 76, The Elder Scrolls: Legends and Quake Champions.

Doom Eternal reveal

First, the reveal of Doom Eternal will take place during the event’s Keynote Address, which will also provide updates on Quake Champions, Rage 2 and The Elder Scrolls Online. The event will be livestreamed over Twitch and takes place at 2.00 am AEST on 11 August (or check your own timezone here).

Fallout 76 panel

“Todd Howard and others from Bethesda Game Studios will take fans through a deeper dive into the character systems and Perks coming in Fallout 76, followed by a Q&A with the team to address fans’ most pressing questions,” Bethesda said of the Fallout-centric panel.

The panel will also be livestreamed over Twitch and takes place at 2.00 am AEST on 12 August (or check your own timezone here).

Esports tournaments

Finally, Esports tournaments for both The Elder Scrolls: Legends and Quake Champions will take place over QuakeCon.

The Elder Scrolls: Legends Masters Series will take place between 10-11 August and will be livestreamed on Twitch. A $50,000 USD prize pool will be up for grabs.

The Quake Champions QuakeCon Open will take place over 11-13 August and, of course, will be livestreamed on Twitch as well. A 2v2 tournament will offer a $175,000 USD prize pool, while 1v1 tourney will offer $25,000 USD.

What are you planning to tune in for?

Fallout 76 heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 14 November, while Doom Eternal doesn’t have a release date as yet (though we reckon that’ll change at QuakeCon).
