Quake remaster available now alongside bonus expansion

Happy QuakeCon!

A special Quake remaster is now available alongside a new bonus expansion.

Announced at QuakeCon earlier this morning, the release is “an enhanced version of the original Quake… available today on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass for console and PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and backward compatible on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5,” Bethesda said in a press release. “Native Xbox Series X|S and PS5 versions bringing native 4K at 120 FPS will be available soon as a free upgrade.”

The release will offer resolutions at up to 4K depending on platform, and also comes with all existing expansions. Finally, a new expansion called Dimension of the Machine has been added to the remaster.

Quake is now available on Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Switch. It’s also part of Xbox Game Pass.
