Prince of Persia The Sands of Time Remake delayed to March 2021

Hopefully it looks a little better than when announced?

Prince of Persia The Sands of Time Remake has been delayed into March 2021 to allow for “additional time to work on the game,” Ubisoft Pune and Ubisoft Mumbai have confirmed.

Originally scheduled for 21 January 2021, the title will now head to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 18 March 2021.

“We are excited to put this game in your hands, as we retell the story of the Prince and Farah in a reimagined 11th century Persia,” Ubisoft wrote on Twitter. “However, 2020 has been a year like no other. Today we wanted to let you know that we are taking additional time to work on the game… We believe this is the right call to ensure we deliver a game you will enjoy.”

The Sands of Time Remake received criticism for its dated, cartoonish look upon its announcement back in September, so we’re hoping some of that additional dev time will be used to beef up the title’s visual appearance.
