Prince Harry says Fortnite is addictive, should be banned

Prince Harry is the latest high-profile person to weigh in on Fortnite, calling it addictive and saying it should be banned.

As reported by Variety, The Duke of Sussex lashed out against Fortnite while speaking at a YMCA in West London.

“The game shouldn’t be allowed,” he said, speaking directly of Fortnite. “It’s created to addict. An addiction to keep you in front of a computer for as long as possible. It’s so irresponsible.”

Prince Harry advised parents to actively encourage their children to play video games less — at least we can agree on that, eh?

“Parents have got their hands up – they don’t know what to do about it,” Prince Harry said. “It’s like waiting for the damage to be done.”

Fortnite is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4, Switch, iOS and Android devices.
