Predator Hunting Grounds heads to PS5, Xbox on 2 October

With new content scheduled through to 2025.

Predator Hunting Grounds will no longer be a PlayStation console exclusive, with plans to expand onto PS5 and Xbox Series S & X later this year.

Update [24 September]: Illfonic has now confirmed that the PS5 and Xbox Series versions of Predator Hunting Grounds will be available from 2 October here in Australia.

The title is currently available on PS4 and Windows PC via the Epic Games Store and Steam and will expand to new platforms as a result of developer Illfonic publishing its own title.

“Later this year and into 2025, following Patch 2.49 this April, fans can expect future DLC content, balance improvements, and an update to support Predator Hunting Grounds on PlayStation 5… consoles,” Illfonic said in a press release. “Even more exciting, for the first time, Xbox fans will have the chance to take on or become the iconic extraterrestrial warrior on Xbox Series X|S later in the year as well.”

No date for the console expansion was given other than “late 2024”. Additional Predators will be added to all platforms in two big content drops over 2025.

“This game has a strong, enthusiastic player base and a vocal community that wants to see the game updated and supported,” said Charles Brungardt of IllFonic. “Now that IllFonic is publishing games, we knew we had to get Predator Hunting Grounds back. We knew we needed to get back to the Chopper!”

Illfonic is also hard at work on Killer Klowns from Outer Space and recently released Ghostbusters Spirits Unleashed.

Predator Hunting Grounds is currently available on PS4 and Steam, and will head to PS5, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X from 2 October.
