Power levels mean Destiny 2’s latest Raid is really, really hard

Destiny 2 players are struggling to beat Warmind‘s latest Raid Lair, Spire of Stars.

The first fireteam to beat the Raid Lair, clan Redeem, took 394 minutes (or around 6.5 hours) to finish the event, while famed Destiny 2 influencer Datto said his group took 12.5 hours to do the same.

The problem seems to lie with Power levelling at the moment — most players have jumped into the event around 365 Power, while the Raid Lair’s final boss is recommended for players at 380 Power. That’s a big gap.

It’s likely the event will become easier as Guardians grind up those Power levels and develop strategies to take on Spire of Stars itself. Until then, maybe it’s best to hold off on any attempts, eh?

Destiny 2 is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
