Pokemon Sword & Shield Direct scheduled for next week

A Pokemon Sword & Shield Direct is coming next week, Nintendo has announced.

Scheduled for 11.00 pm AEST on 5 June (or check your timezone here), the event will run for 15 minutes total. The Direct will be available on both YouTube and Twitch; we’ve embedded both feeds below for your convenience and will remind you of the event just before it begins.

What do you think the reveal will show us? Do you think a Direct right before E3 2019 means we won’t see much of Pokemon Sword and Shield then? Why or why not? SO MANY QUESTIONS.

Pokemon Sword & Shield was first announced back in February of this year. It’s set in a London-like region called Galar and features three new starter Pokemon called Grookey (Grass-type), Scorbunny (Fire-type) and Sobble (Water-type).
