Pokémon Sun and Moon: Those using ROMs receiving harsh bans

Those who’ve been playing Pokémon Sun and Moon via ROMs have today found themselves cut off from online access.

Posts on Reddit and 4chan confirm the action by Nintendo, just a day ahead of the game’s release.

The bans appear to be quite severe, though it’s unknown if they’re permanent or temporary.

“What the f**k was Nintendo thinking?” a poster on 4chan wrote.

“I AM BANNED I CAN’T ACCESS ANYTHING NOT EVEN THE ESHOP. I will never buy anything from Nintendo again. F**k them.”

Those who’ve obtained legitimate early copies of the title are unaffected.
