Pokemon Scarlet & Pokemon Violet coming late 2022

Get ready!

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet is the latest title in the long-running franchise, planned for a release on Nintendo Switch in late 2022.

Developed by Game Freak, the two new titles will offer up a new region and, of course, three new starter Pokemon.

This time around, wannabe trainers will choose from the Grass Cat Sprigatito, the Fire Croc Fuecoco or the Water Duckling Quaxly, all shown above. Players will also be offered different outfits depending on whether or not they’re playing Scarlet or Violet.

Moreover, Nintendo has proclaimed the new titles feature an “open world where various towns with no borders blend seamlessly into the wilderness” and that “Pokemon can be seen everywhere in this wide-open world – in the skies, in the sea, and on the streets.”

We’ll let you know more about Pokemon Scarlet Violet when Nintendo makes the information available.
