Pokemon Pass app offers Shiny Pikachu, Eevee

A new app called Pokemon Pass on iOS and Android devices will provide players the chance to earn Shiny Pokémon and a fancy Detective Pikachu sticker too. The catch is, it’s only available in the USA.

The app, available here on iOS and here on Android will offer up Detective Pikachu just for downloading it, while players can then head into an American Target store for either a Shiny Pikachu or Shiny Eevee. All Pokemon from the app will work within Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee on Nintendo Switch.

We’ll let you know if Aussie availability is announced. We’ve asked Nintendo Australia about the promotion now.

Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee are both available now on Nintendo Switch.
