Pokemon Nintendo Direct scheduled for this Friday

Pokemon Nintendo Direct has been announced for Friday here in Australia.

The presentation will last roughly 20 minutes and will focus on the Pokemon brand. We’re not exactly sure what that will entail — it could be more information on Pokemon Sword and Shield, news about the Pokemon Home app that will allow for transfers between games, or even a teased Detective Pikachu game for Switch. Alternatively, it’s also possible we’ll learn more of a Pokemon animated webseries that was announced back in December. Any guesses?

The livestream is scheduled for 1.30 am AEDT on Friday, 10 January — we’ve embedded the livestream below. As always, we’ll update you with major headlines from the event when you wake up Friday morning.
