Pokémon Go’s new Gyms are now live

Pokémon Go‘s revamped Gyms are now live, developer Niantic advised.

Users will be able to experience tweaked battles and gain Gym Badges from Gyms from today onwards.

Niantic detailed the changes earlier in the week: Gyms will now offer Badges via the same Photo Disc feature found within PokéStops. Gym battles have been amended so that you’ll fight Pokémon in the order they were placed in a Gym. All Pokémon in a Gym will be unique as well. For the full set of changes, head here.

Pokémon Go‘s is available now on iOS and Android devices.
