Pokémon Go: Second generation Pokémon look set to appear this week

Leaked Starbucks documents suggest that Pokémon Go will receive second generation Pokémon as early as this week.

Documents, vouched for by anonymous Starbucks employees (via Reddit) state that the new Pokémon will appear in-game from 8 December (or closer to 9 December here in Australia.

Datamining in November uncovered 100 Pokémon Gold and Silver characters alongside the already-released Ditto.

Developer Niantic has already entered into an agreement with McDonald’s in Japan, so one with Starbucks in the US doesn’t seem that… Farfetch’d.
