Pokémon Go may get PvP play down the track

Niantic boss John Hanke has told TechCrunch that the developer talks “quite a lot about” player-versus-player (PvP) action in Pokémon Go.

“I have 10 year old son – he’s my Pokémon expert, we play together – he wants to battle his friends in Pokémon Go,” Hanke said.

“Battling is something we talk a lot about. It’s probably something that will make its way onto our roadmap.”

As you may expect, there’s no timeframe on — or official confirmation of — the addition.
