Pokémon Go iOS update fixes Google account permissions issue

Pokémon Go‘s 1.0.1 update has fixed the game’s Google account permissions issue reported yesterday.

The update means Pokémon Go now is limited to a user’s basic data including their email address. It also means users shouldn’t have to re-enter their email and password each time they’re dumped from the game.

On that top, the update also aims to lessen crashes, but we’ll believe that when we see it.

We’ve a full guide for Pokémon Go beginners right here.
