Pokemon Go home Raids will be offered in-game soon

Pokemon Go home Raids will soon be offered to players, Niantic has advised in the face of the coronavirus, COVID-19.

“We’re enhancing our in-game virtual social features to enable players to stay in touch when they can’t meet in real life,” developer Niantic said in a new blog post. “You’ll soon be able to team up with friends and take on Raid Battles together in Pokémon Go from the comfort of home.”

The developer says it is also looking to “help players virtually visit and share memories about their favourite real-world places” and has advised it’s working on a Pokemon Go Fest that can be enjoyed from home later in the year.

Pokemon Go is available now on iOS and Android devices.
