Pokemon Go Halloween 2020 event detailed by Niantic

The Pokemon Go Halloween 2020 event has today been detailed by Niantic and involves the most spooky of Pokemon.

The event takes place between 12.00 pm AEDT on 24 October to 12.00 pm AEDT 4 November. As you’d expect, Ghost-type Pokemon will spawn more frequently, with both Gengar and Sableye in costumes. Players will also receive 2x Transfer and 2x Catch Candies all the while.

Special days will also feature as part of the event:

  • Catch Mastery: Ghost Day: 8.00 am to 10.00 pm local time, 25 October
  • Alolan Marowak Raid Day: 11.00 am to 5.00 pm local time, 31 October
  • GO Battle League: Halloween Cup: From 7.00 am 27 October to 7.00 am 4 November

Pokemon Go is currently available on iOS and Android devices. For more information on this event, head here.
