Pokémon Go finally has Legendary Pokémon (but good luck capturing them)

The first two Legendary Pokémon are finally available within Pokémon Go… but Trainers are having difficulty capturing them.

The two Legendary Pokémon, Lugia and Articuno, can be captured by completing a Raid event with either prize. The problem is, you’re going to need a group of other Trainers (and a Gym with the Raid event itself) to pull off the feat.

Additionally, the introduction of the two new Legendary Pokémon came at a time that the mobile game was plagued with network issues — those that actually managed to band together to deal tremendous damage were usually met with a connectivity problem before the capture could take place.

Will you attempt to capture the two new Legendary Pokémon, or have you finished with Pokémon Go?

Pokémon Go is now available on iOS and Android devices.
