Pokemon Go Eggstravaganza starts next week

A special Pokemon Go Eggstravaganza event has been scheduled for next week, developer Niantic has advised.

The event, returning for its third year, will offer special egg hatches alongside a likelihood to encounter a Shiny Buneary. Hatched eggs will include bonus Candy and players will receive 2x bonus incubator effectiveness. Moreover, Pokemon like Pichu, Smoochum and Magby will be available via 2 km Eggs. Finally, egg-focused Field Research tasks will appear in greater numbers. Got all that?

The Pokemon Go Eggstravaganza event starts at 6.00 am AEST on 17 April and runs until 6.00 am AEST on 24 April.

Pokemon Go is currently available on iOS and Android devices. Users can also reserve their Trainer names inside Niantic’s upcoming Harry Potter: Wizards Unite.
