Pokémon Go: Developer Niantic responds to recent fan criticisms

Pokémon Go developer Niantic has taken to the game’s Facebook page to explain its latest big update.

In the post, Niantic explains the reasoning for removing the Nearby footstep functionality, promising an improved feature in the future.

The post also apologises for the slow global rollout, using Brazil as a prime example. Brazil — Rio, specifically — is currently hosting the Olympic Games.

We’ll have more on Pokémon Go as it comes to light.
