Pokemon Go crashing on iOS? Here’s a fix!

Pokemon Go is crashing on iOS after recent updates, but we’ve luckily got a fix.

Users have flocked to the internet complaining that Pokémon Go crashes immediately after trying to open the app. In this situation, it looks like the only way to fix it is to uninstall the app (by holding down on the Pokémon Go icon and then hitting the X in its top-left corner). Then, head to the App Store and reinstall the app.

Pokémon Go lets you log in using Facebook or Google, so once you reinstall and log back in, you shouldn’t lost any progress.

Some users are reporting they needed to reboot their phone before reinstalling the app — keep that in mind if you’re having problems.

Pokémon Go is currently available on iOS and Android.
