PlayStation Plus subscription prices to be raised in UK, Europe

Sony today confirmed that it will be increasing the cost of a one or three month PlayStation Plus subscription in the UK and Europe.

The increases haven’t actually been set, but Sony did assert that a yearly subscription will remain as-is at £39.99.

“We are dedicated to bringing PlayStation Plus members the best possible service with the most compelling content,” Sony said via statement. “From September 1, 2015 we will be increasing the price of monthly and three-month PlayStation Plus subscriptions in line with market conditions.

“We will continue to invest in PlayStation Plus to ensure an unparalleled experience, featuring the best quality games and features.”

Australia’s pricing looks safe for now.
