Platinum Games reportedly offered original Bayonetta voice actor $15,000 USD

Hellena Taylor's claim has been contradicted by this new report.

New reports suggest that Platinum Games offered original Bayonetta voice actor Hellena Taylor $15,000 USD for her work, contradicting Taylor’s original claim.

Bloomberg cites sources which say that Taylor was offered close to $15,000 USD total for her work, with payments to be dispersed between four to five recording sessions.

The report continues on to say that Taylor countered with an offer requesting a six-figure payment alongside residual payments for her work, which Platinum declined.

Speaking with Bloomberg, Taylor said the new report was “an absolute lie”.

“I would like to put this whole bloody franchise behind me quite frankly [and] get on with my life in the theatre,” Taylor added in an email to the outlet.

Bayonetta 3 heads to Nintendo Switch on 28 October.
