Plants vs Zombies 3 announced, playable now on Android

Plants vs Zombies 3 was today announced by PopCap Games and EA; what’s more, a pre-alpha build is already available to download and play on Android devices.

“During the Pre-Alpha, you should anticipate experiencing bugs (zombies don’t bathe very often) and other issues,” EA advised, adding that “a limited number of downloads will be available for players in phases, so if the option to download isn’t available at first, be sure to check the page another day for your chance to play. Currently, the Pre-Alpha is only available on Android devices.”

To try your luck, head to the Google Play Store and see if you can download yourself a copy.

We’ll have more on Plants vs Zombies 3 as it becomes available. The title is planned for a full launch on both iOS and Android devices.
