Pirates love The Witness; motion sickness patch coming soon

There’s lots of news surrounding The Witness from the weekend.

First, developer Jonathan Blow has taken to Twitter to talk of piracy.

Blow even went so far as to say he’d consider implementing DRM to his next title.

In happier news, Blow also said that a patch for motion sickness should be available soon. Some players experience motion sickness when trying to solve the title’s myriad puzzles.

“I just pushed an update to the beta ‘future’ that may help,” Blow advised. “It is a simple update and does not comprise everything we may do for this.”

The update uses a wider field of view, eliminates the view blob and increases walk acceleration.
