PGA Tour 2K25 release date set for 28 February (or earlier if you pay)

The PGA Tour 2K25 release date was today set for 28 February, though two of the title’s three editions will offer up seven days of early access for a price.

PGA TOUR 2K25 features several franchise advancements, including the addition of new EvoSwing mechanics with a whole host of new shot types, ball flights, roll physics, and visual improvements; the most immersive and customisable MyCAREER experience to date; a diverse suite of creation tools; and much more,” 2K said in a press release. “In addition, fans can look forward to a roster of 11 male and female pros at launch*, including Tiger Woods, Max Homa, Matt Fitzpatrick, Justin Thomas, Tony Finau, Lydia Ko, Tom Kim, Brooke Henderson, and more.”

This iteration of HB Studios’ popular golf title will include 29 licensed courses at launch, including new entries the 2025 U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club, the 2025 PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club, and The 153rd Open at Royal Portrush Golf Club. The Old Course at St. Andrews is planned for “Season 2 shortly after launch”.

Topgolf mode will also return, as will a course designer with new options. Finally, cover stars for this year include Matt Fitzpatrick, Max Homa, and Tiger Woods.

Expect PGA Tour 2K25 on Windows PC via Steam, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PS5 from 28 February; two of its three editions include seven days of early access.
