PES 2019 detailed, dated for PC, Xbox One, PS4

Konami has confirmed details of PES 2019 while at the same time avoiding the issues of licenses the franchise has lost.

PES 2019 will fulfil KONAMI’s ongoing commitment to increase the number of licenses confirming; more fully licensed leagues and stadiums, more club licensed partnerships, and a host of new Legends that will be announced in the weeks to come,” the publisher said, detailing that FC Barcelona star and global ambassador Philippe Coutinho will be this year’s cover star. David Beckham will co-star on the cover in a special edition and be represented by a present-day avatar (above).

Current, topical footballers, eh?

An announcement trailer was also released.

The news comes shortly after an announcement by EA Sports that FIFA 18 will sport a free World Cup Russia-themed update, due 29 May.

PES 2019 will be available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 from 30 August.
