Persona 5 Scramble The Phantom Strikers, Persona 5 Royal announced

Persona 5 Scramble The Phantom Strikers and Persona 5 Royal were recently announced for Switch and PS4.

A musou spinoff — think Dynasty Warriors or Hyrule Warriors Scramble: The Phantom Strikers is expected on both Nintendo Switch and PS4. The title is a collaboration between Persona‘s Atlus and Dynasty Warriors Koei Tecmo… um, also responsible for Hyrule Warriors. Seeing the connection here?

Atlus has also announced an expanded version of Persona 5 titled Persona 5 Royal. The title, exclusive to PS4, will add to the story of the original game.

Persona 5 Royal expands on the extraordinary world of Persona 5, introducing a host of new characters, gameplay features, and diving deeper into the personal lives, as well as the trials and tribulations, of the enigmatic (and exceedingly-stylish) Phantom Thieves,” Atlus said in a press release. “Players will even get to experience an all-new third semester at Shujin Academy that’s never been seen before!”

Persona 5 Royal is expected on PS4 in 2020. Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers doesn’t have a release window as yet but is expected on Nintendo Switch and PS4.
